Hi David, I have seen specs that the Forerunner 955 will have storm alerts. I am not sure about the FR 255 but my guess is that it’ll have this feature as well.

Sorry, no information from Garmin about a touch-enabled display on the FR 255. As this would be a major feature, I guess is that the FR 255 won‘t have a touch display.
